About GrantKaro

GrantKaro is a free, independent guide that helps Indian founders see which government grants, seed funds, loan guarantees and subsidies they may qualify for — in plain English.

Who we are

An independent side project by an Indian founder. We are not a government body, consultant or agent, and we are not paid by any scheme, incubator or bank.

What we cover

25 central and state schemes today, with deeper coverage for Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. We add more only when we can confirm them from an official source.

How we check every scheme

1. Official sources only. Every scheme links to a government page (.gov.in / .nic.in or the official state mission site).
2. No guessed amounts. If the official page doesn't state an amount, we show “amount awaiting guidelines” instead of a number.
3. Dated checks. Each scheme shows the date we last checked its source. Pages are re-checked for changes.
4. Caps, not promises. Totals add up maximum amounts. Loans and guarantees are never counted as free money.

What we don't do

We never collect applications, documents or fees, and we don't apply on your behalf. Meeting the basic rules does not mean you'll be selected — the scheme's committee decides.
